I Choose Joy Now

From the moment I awoke this morning, I knew today was going to be a day about choices.
I had to decide whether to go back to bed our get up and face the cold snowy day and wind chills of -27 to spend some time with some wonderful ladies in my Aloette business whom always inspire me.
My gut said you know you want to be there so I got up and started getting ready.
Then I had to decide how to get there now that I was running late. Taxi… 🙂 Done

My next dilemma was to decide how far do I wish to take my business. I’ve not been very clear over the past year, just settling to connect to the inspired energy I feel when I’m with these fabulous ladies. I ummed and ahhed all the way but I knew today I would know.

Our franchise President, Anne Marie, showed this inspiring video by Lizzie Velasquez … The most important words for me is “You can choose to be Happy or you can choose to be defeated.”

This has been my mind/heart set for awhile now. But to see someone whom you might believe it would be easy for het to just give up, say how inspired she was to achieve, I was reminded of how easy it is for me to choose to give and receive my best in each moment.

My Joy is Now and I choose it in each moment.

This doesn’t mean there aren’t things that have come up to make me choose, like bad weather, fear, sadness, anger and even overwhelming joy.

I know I am the only one who can stop my joy from flowing so I choose to be Unstoppable. #HAPPY

Many say we must focus on the now to create a better tomorrow, yet I still see so many post that are still angry about the past and a future yet to come… I open to my present moment and give thanks for what I can enjoy doing today to make my joy possible.

We change the past and the future by honouring our presence in each moment of now…

My present is in my now so for now ‘I choose joy/happiness and peace the rest I give to God/Source to do with what it will.’

Allow Your Inner-child to Play

I have you ever watched a child or children at play?
From the ages of 1-10, notice how they pretend and make things up using their imagination naturally to have a great day.
They invent new games, new ways to use their toys, names of animals you’ve never heard and friends from far off places.

Imagination is natural ability for children.
It is something they love to practice.
They get better at it when no one tells them they’re doing it wrong and they need to think this way or that.

Look at the amazing inventions we have today from the children who were allowed to imagine the world as they saw it best.
We know have cars, ships, planes, rockets to the moon, from still pictures to motion pictures so many inventions that make life fun and entertaining.

What would you invent if you allowed your inner-child to come out and play?
To imagine your world the way that feels best to your child at play.
What freedom would you give yourself today, if only in the moment?

Today I invite you to play and imagine your world in your best way. It’s natural part of who you are to allow your inner child to play. It can be the beginning of a great day.

Enough is Enough

This past week I was guided to a new perspective on ‘when is enough enough’.

We will sometimes settle for what we believe to be enough. Yet on the other hand will suffer through pain, sorrow, sadness instead of shouting out ‘Enough is Enough’

Depending on your perspective, it maybe time for you to reflect upon what your inner spirit has to tell you about the word ‘Enough’. Be open to releasing some of your limited vision on suffering enough, doing enough and giving enough.
Open up to the opportunities being enough, receiving enough and knowing the you are enough.

Today I share a poem that has been circulated many times over. I’ve also added a few of my perspectives on ‘enough’.

My only request for you today is that you be open as you read it today and allow it to really speak to you.

I pray you enough sun to keep your attitude bright no matter how gray the day may appear.
I pray you enough rain to appreciate the sun even more.
